Installation Terms

Residential standard installation

Professional Installation shown on an eligible residential product is a complete standard installed-package price for a suitable back-to-back installation in an ACR service area. The current standard residential installation uplift is R2 550,00. Where an eligible product requires product-specific materials, its complete installed-package price includes them. The total shown on the product page and carried into the order is authoritative.

The product page states the included standard pipework allowance for that unit. Site suitability and final routing are confirmed for the installation.

Additional work and charges

Extra pipework, trunking, electrical work, removal of existing equipment, unusual access, specialised mounting, travel and other site-specific requirements are outside the standard scope unless expressly included. ACR will explain and seek approval for additional work and charges before proceeding where reasonably possible.

The current optional removal charge is R650,00. Removal covers taking down the existing unit only. Disposal, recycling and transport away are not included unless separately confirmed.

Service areas and travel

Installation is offered in Mpumalanga and Ballito, Umhlanga & North Coast, subject to the exact site and scheduling. Standard installation pricing excludes additional travel outside the normal local service area. Travel charges may apply for sites more than approximately 20 km from the applicable local service area and are confirmed before installation. No automatic distance charge is calculated by the website.

Site access and suitability

The customer must provide safe, reasonable access and disclose relevant site constraints. Installation can be paused or re-quoted if the intended position, structure, access, services or routing is unsuitable or differs materially from the information supplied. ACR will discuss practical alternatives before unauthorised extra work is performed.

Commercial and project installations

Cassette, ducted, under-ceiling, floor-standing, commercial wall-mount and larger or project systems require site-specific assessment and quotation. Residential standard installation pricing and inclusions do not apply to these products unless a written quotation expressly says otherwise.

Completion and concerns

Customers should raise visible concerns at completion or as soon as reasonably possible. Warranty and workmanship matters follow Warranty. Cancellation or rescheduling after equipment has been sourced or labour reserved may involve a reasonable charge where legally permitted and supported by the circumstances.
