Information ACR collects

ACR Air-Conditioning is the trading name of ACR AIRCON (PTY) LTD, company registration number 2020/007535/07. ACR may receive the details a customer supplies during checkout, account creation, an order, a quote request or a contact enquiry. This can include a name, contact details, billing or delivery address, order information, account details, service area, site information and messages.

WordPress and WooCommerce may also process technical information needed for security, sessions and normal site operation, such as browser information, cookie identifiers and network request data.

Why the information is used

ACR uses personal information to respond to enquiries, provide quotations, confirm supplier availability, fulfil and support orders, arrange delivery or service, maintain customer accounts, prevent abuse, communicate about work, and keep records reasonably required for legal, accounting and business purposes.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies support the cart, checkout, account login, security and cookie choices. ACR uses Google Analytics 4 through Site Kit to measure site visits, product and checkout activity, purchases, successful quote requests and contact-link clicks. These events do not include the contents of your quote request or your name, email address or telephone number.

Our cookie controls let you accept, reject non-essential cookies or manage statistics and marketing preferences. You can change your choices using Manage consent. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from using the cart or requesting a quote. Google Consent Mode communicates these choices to Google. See our Cookie Policy for further information.

Google Analytics is linked to ACR’s Google Ads account for advertising-performance reporting. Personalised advertising through this link is disabled.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be shared only as reasonably needed with service providers that operate the website, email, hosting, payment, delivery or fulfilment functions; with suppliers or installers where needed to complete the customer request; or where disclosure is required by law. ACR does not sell personal information.

When a customer chooses an online payment method at checkout, the configured payment provider processes payment information under its own privacy and security terms. ACR does not collect or process card details itself.

Protection and retention

ACR uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information and ACR’s website and business environment. No online system can promise absolute security. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, customer support, legal obligations, dispute handling and legitimate business records.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask ACR to explain, correct or delete personal information, subject to identity checks and records ACR must lawfully retain. You may also object to or ask about particular processing.
